We received a request from the customer to shorten the development period for the power supply unit. Normally, it takes about 6 months to go from design to manufacturing and evaluation for a 1 to 2-channel power supply unit, but this time they inquired whether it could be done in 3 months. Our company has a system in place to shorten the design lead time by creating a library of design specifications and drawings. In this case, we were able to shorten the design lead time by developing a design with similar specifications, allowing us to complete the development period, including evaluation, in 3 months.
